Who We Serve

We serve South Carolina residents who have trouble using the phone, including people who are:

• Hard of Hearing
• Deaf
  
• Deaf-Blind
  
• Blind/Low Vision with Hearing Loss
  
• Speech Impaired

Eligibility Checklist

Your income is not a factor. We do ask that you meet these basic requirements:

• You are a legal, permanent resident of South Carolina.
  
• You have a home phone (cell phones and video phones don’t count).
  
• Your permanent communication challenge can be confirmed by a professional.

As an eligible resident, you can use our equipment for as long as you need it.

Professional Certifiers

To confirm your communication challenge, you can get a signature from any one of these professional certifiers:

• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse

Why Free Products?

Our products are absolutely free, thanks to a small surcharge on all in-state residential and business phone lines. If you are a resident with a landline phone, then you help pay for the program.
