We Care

With over 30 years of personal experience with hearing loss and wearing hearing aids, our audiologist has a unique understanding of the challenges of hearing loss.  Monica Wiser, M.A. CCC-A graduated at the top of her class earning a Master's degree in audiology in 1996.  She currently holds state licensure and national certification to practice audiology and prescribe hearing aids.

At Beaufort Audiology & Hearing Care, we understand that managing a hearing loss requires more than just an advanced pair of hearing aids.  It requires thorough counselling and instruction on effective communication strategies with patients and their family members.

We understand that several follow-up visits and programming adjustments are required and we provide those services free of charge.  We follow through in order to ensure that our patients adapt to their hearing aids at a manageable pace.

We believe that every person suffering from a hearing loss deserves thorough, professional and compassionate care. 

Services

Diagnostic Hearing testing--This is covered by Medicare and other insurance companies when performed by a licensed audiologist.  We will file the claims for you.  We also will check to determine if you have benefits for hearing aid coverage.

Certification of hearing loss for free resources such as amplified telephones, other assistive devices, and services.

Hearing aids-- We offer a variety of high quality, affordable hearing aids including several different brands of hearing aids in several technology levels to suit your needs.  Free follow-up care with any purchase.

Hearing aid repairs.

Assistive listening devices.

Free counselling for patients, teachers and family members.

Free hearing screenings and presentations for schools and organizations.
