What We Do
At Forest View Manor, our purpose is to provide a safe and secure home for senior citizens in a Christian atmosphere. We offer private bedrooms and suites, home-cooked meals, medication assistance, transportation, housekeeping, laundry, personal assistance, and a wide range of daily activities. Our staff is committed to providing compassionate care while insuring dignity and independence.

For your enjoyment and relaxation, our facilities include two large living rooms, a sunny dining room, two sunlit skylight rooms, a large front porch, garden areas, a gazebo, and an on-site Beauty Salon.

Two major concerns as we age are:

PROPER NUTRITION

Our menus are specifically prescribed for each resident. The meals are dietician approved. We learn our residents preferences as well as their needs, and make every effort to satisfy both.

CORRECT
MEDICATION

Medications are documented and administered by certified medication technicians. Our staff can also monitor vital signs, and are trained to observe for signs of illness or infection.

Our residents also benefit from the services of on-site home health nurses, and a pharmacy staff that specializes exclusively in geriatric communities.

Veterans Services:There are financial benefits for you and your spouse for non-service connected disabilities. The Veteran's Administration has established a program to aid you when you have a need. We can assist you in understanding and learning more about this program, which can result in financial assistance to cover the cost of assisted living care.

To potentially qualify for these benefits, a resident must have served ninety days active duty, with at least one day served during wartime and have been honorably discharged.

Once qualified, the veteran, veteran and one dependent, or veteran's surviving spouse will be entitled to receive a direct monthly payment to use for the cost of care.

Beauty Salon/Day SpaOur residents are invited to indulge themselves with a little pampering. We have a licensed beautician who provides a full array of hair care services. Our staff also regularly provide manicures and nail care, and our visiting podiatrist brings us excellent foot and toenail care. It's like having your own personal day spa right in your own home!
