The Legacy of Anderson Senior Living Community is an independent living retirement community for those who wish to maintain a fulfilling and rewarding life without the demanding responsibilities of running a household.

The Legacy of Anderson Senior Living Community is owned by Five Star Senior Living. Five Star is a healthcare and senior living services provider that operates independent and assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation hospitals, institutional pharmacies and outpatient health rehabilitation clinics throughout 30 states. 

At The Legacy of Anderson, our family-oriented atmosphere is warm and relaxed, with an ambience that echos the small town feel of Anderson, South Carolina.

Our Location

Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains surrounded by lakes and rivers, Legacy of Anderson is one of the most picturesque places you could choose to live. We're conveniently located just minutes from AnMed Hospital, shopping, golf courses, museums, art galleries, Lake Hartwell and local attractions such as Anderson Jockey Lot and Farmer's Market.

Our Community

Our independent living community is situated on 12 acres of beautifully manicured grounds, with 100 spacious independent living apartments, a well-stocked library, a movie theater, beautiful decor and more.

Our Activities

Our residents enjoy cookouts, karaoke night, ice cream, watermelon socials, and family night events with themes such as Western Night and Hawaiian Night. We plan numerous outings and day trips to near-by towns, museums, historic districts and other points of interest.

Other activities and programs include: outdoor recreation, exercising in our fitness center, doing arts and crafts, learning from our wellness program, gardening, spending time with other residents in our pub/lounge, enjoying cultural activities, attending chapel services, and much more.

Our Pet-Friendly Place

Because we value the time-tested connection people have with their pets, we welcom you to bring your pet to live with you at The Legacy of Anderson. We accept most small pets, and have minimal deposit requirements to make the necessary accommodations.
