Free Provider Directory

SCEDP reaches out to people who are deaf, hard of hearing, deaf-blind, blind/low vision with hearing loss, and speech impaired. People can choose from a wide range of enhanced phones and alerting devices. These quality products enable their users to communicate on their own and in their own way.

Each product is a life-changing technology that has the power to bring isolated people back into the community and let them experience life fully again. Products are provided at absolutely no charge to eligible South Carolina residents, thanks to a small surcharge on all South Carolina residential and business phone lines.

To qualify for the program, people must have a professional provider certify their permanent disability. That's where you come in.

To make it easier to certify, there’s an online directory of providers that visitors can search for nearby professionals. The directory is part of the Provider Network, where providers are listed free in the directory and also have their own free webpage on SCEDP.org.

What’s the catch?

That’s the best part--there is no catch. Providers never pay to be part of the Provider Network. Everyone wins. Providers win because they get more customers. Customers win with phones that work the way they communicate. SCEDP wins by serving more residents.
